

Let us introduce two magazines in the JSC:
Nipponia and
Gaiko (Diplomatic) Journal.
Nipponia is a quarterly magazine with up-to-date information on the rapidly changing Japanese society. This picture magazine introduces the old and the new in Japanese society through a lots beautiful images. For example, the latest issue features articles on the culture of gold, as well as those of a Muay Thai boxer-turn gyn owner, a popular Japanese sweet custard pudding and tourist information about Hiraizumi, Iwate Prefecture. Another magazine Gaiko Journal is a monthly magazine, which specializes Japanese foreign policy. This magazine articulates current views from policy-makers and political analysts. However, the magazine covers a variety of issues on security, ranging from energy policiy to adoptation of Japanese pop culture in Indonesia. Although it is only available in Japanese, if you can read Japanese, try dip in the exciting world of international politics.
